Could You Have Effervescent Cola Tablets?

An unashamedly different kind of post today but I’m ill and I like the idea so up it goes.

Wouldn’t it be excellent if Coke/ Pepsi etc brought out a (probably limited edition) product where you dropped a tablet into the water and it reacted like this:

Unless science and/or nature prohibits such a reaction, I demand Coke and Pepsi to get their R&D departments on this ASAP.

Could be a little tablet that sits in the cap or separate tablets where you supply your own water, I don’t care. I WANT RESULTS!

Pepsi Mix anyone?
